Wanted Scripts is open

Miguel
Heads up: this is a test post. We are using it to check that the blog, the
comments and the Discord announcements all work end to end. Treat everything
below as a dry run.

Today Wanted Scripts opens its doors.

Why we started

We did not set out to open a store. We set out to fix our own server.

Every resource we needed either did not exist, ran badly, or came with a config
file nobody had bothered to explain. So we wrote our own. Then a friend asked for
one. Then their community asked. At some point it stopped being a favour and
started being a studio.

What we care about

Three things, and we would rather be judged on them than on a feature list:

  • It has to run well. If a resource costs you frames, it is not finished.
  • It has to be understandable. Every script ships with real documentation:

installation, configuration, a developer API and the errors you are actually
going to hit.

  • Someone has to answer. Support goes to the people who wrote the code, not

to a queue.

Where things live

The store, the documentation and this blog are all up. Our Discord is
where the fastest answers happen, and where we tend to think out loud before
anything gets built.

What this blog is for

This is where the work gets written down. Release notes when we ship, honest
explanations when we change something, and the occasional look at what we are
building and why. No filler posts.

You can sign in with Discord and comment on anything here. If you have an opinion
about what we should build next, this is a good place to leave it.

Thanks for showing up this early. It matters more than you would think.

*Reminder: this is a test post published to verify the new blog. Real posts start
with the next one.*
